Jonathan (BSc (Hons), MSc, FITMA), is the Senior Partner of MW Trade Marks Limited and a Fellow of The Institute Of Trade Mark Attorneys. He was voted Trade Mark Lawyer of the Year in 2013 and again in 2014 and is an expert advisor to the UKTI, the Government Department supporting UK businesses. He has worked as a senior in-house trade mark attorney for Richemont, an international luxury goods group for over 10 years so has extensive commercial experience working on mergers, acquisitions, brand creation and protection strategies and global enforcement and licensing programs. He was a Senior Trade Mark Attorney at Baker & McKenzie, the largest international law firm offering trade mark services to some of the leading brand-owning companies in the world. Jonathan is also an examiner and a lecturer in trade marks and regularly speaks at conferences and writes articles on a broad range of IP topics.

Anne has been named UK Trade Marks Lawyer of the Year 2013 and 2014 by Lawyer Monthly Legal Awards and is currently shortlisted for the 2015 Awards. Anne is listed in Legal 500 as providing advice which is “international in scope and commercial”. Anne qualified as a Trade Mark Attorney in 1989 winning the Elizabeth Bennett Memorial Award for joint bestperformance in the UK Trade Mark Law Final Examinations.
Much of Anne’s workload focuses on handling trade mark conflicts for international sports companies. Anne has built up a practice assisting professional membership institutes. She represents clients at inter partes hearings and advises also on domain name conflicts.
Anne was a member of the Council of the Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys for over 10 years. She served on several Committees and chaired the Education & Training Committee, the Formalities/Trade Mark Administrators Committee and the Joint Examination Board. She has been an examiner, lecturer and tutor in trade marks.
Anne is the contributor for the UK chapter of the well-respected publication “Trade Marks Throughout the World”.
Vidula is a registered UK & European Trade Mark Attorney with over 20 years’ experience in Intellectual Property gained from working in private law firms and in-house.
Prior to joining MW Trade Marks, Vidula spent almost 20 years primarily working as an in-house trade mark manager for a blue chip multi-national tobacco group. Vidula has experience of a wide spectrum of trademark and design activities and specialises in trade mark portfolio management and brand protection. Having worked for a FTSE100 company, with a portfolio of over 90,000 trade marks and 200 brands worldwide, Vidula has extensive knowledge of providing competitive cost estimates, managing trade mark clearance searches and filing programmes, advising on enforcement of rights as well as implementing brand protection strategies in a diverse range of countries and legal systems.
Vidula has also dealt with worldwide assignment programmes and licencing of rights in a tax efficient manner
